This book began with a simple question:
How can we eat healthily without giving up flavor, the joy of cooking, or sustainability?
The answer unfolds through a journey across countries, cultures, and families—shaped by memories, aromas, ingredients, and shared stories.
From the mountains of Sardinia and Calabria to Puglia, from Japanese tables to kitchens in Costa Rica and California, every recipe carries a connection: a childhood memory, a traditional dish, or a gesture passed down through generations.
Alongside this cultural heritage is the science of longevity, offering clear, practical principles to help cook meals that are flavorful, balanced, and nourishing. You don’t need to be a chef— you just need good ingredients, curiosity, and the desire to take care of your health.
A book featuring personal stories, memories, culinary insights and brief explorations into the history of Italian and international food traditions.
